Jennifer Meyerowitz is a Vice President and Senior Consultant at Epiq Systems. She assists clients in case management, schedule and SOFA preparation, claims reconciliation and other matters.
Prior to joining Epiq, Jennifer was a Senior Associate in the Bankruptcy, Reorganizations and Workouts Practice Group of Alston & Bird, LLP., where she represented debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, creditors’ committees and trustees in complex and out-of-court workouts, debt restructurings and Chapter 11 proceedings.
Jennifer received her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where she was Executive Notes & Comments Editor of Bankruptcy Developments Journal, and her B.A., with distinction, from the University of Michigan.
She is admitted to practice in Georgia and a member of the Board of the Atlanta Bar Association and the Bankruptcy Section of the Atlanta Bar Association. She is the Membership Services Director of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation and the Co-Founder, Past Chair and Current Board Member of its Georgia Network division.
She has written various articles on bankruptcy law and related issues. She has worked on major cases including South Fulton Medical Center, Inc., Bill’s Dollar Stores, Inc., HomeBanc Mortgage Company, Inc., and Southwest Recreational Industries, Inc.
